since jim cramer has a RADIO SHOW ( jim cramers real money) which is broadcast nationally and archived online... and a cable CNBC TELEVISION SHOW (jim cramer's mad money) thought it may be nice to try and separate what he says on each.

also i think he regularly has guests on his cable tv show and rarely has guests on his radio show it may be easier to discuss on separate topics.

if you happen to catch his show it would be great if you could give the rest of us a heads up on the gist of what he or his guests had to say and your opinion or interpretation of it.

also it may be prudent to hold your posts of specific things mentioned on his show until it has been broadcasted to all his market areas, the morning after the broadcast date of the show should due nicely.

i really do not want to get a cease and desist order from cnbc if you know what i mean as the creator of this topic.

jim cramer's mad money is property of cnbc, the use in the topic title is for identification of the topic only and this topic has no affiliation with cnbc, any financial decision taken by you should be made based on your own research in consultation with appropriate professionals chosen by you, any financial loss will be your own, the thoughts theories and recommendations given here are solely for the purposes of advancing the discussion and amusement of the participants any perceived value derived by the viewer or participants should be checked out through other credible sources chosen by you for its appropriateness and accuracy, false or misleading statements or misunderstandings are common and should be expected. thanks for your attention freeye

this was posted by you on another thread. can you tell me where i can find a live stream of his mad money show? pre-recorded would be ok too. or even an accurate transcript of his show. the transcript i found here is pissing me off, i'm arguing over there that TASR was mentioned on yesterday's show but they're saying it was not Stratch

this first link below is where you register for the free part of thestreet.com website where after a few more clicks you will will be able to find the jim cramer radio archive content.

https://secure2.thestreet.com/cap/login/freeMemberLoginB.jsp?flowid=6518496c48&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thestreet.com%2Fm%2Findex.html

after you have registered for the free site. the link below should get you to the page where you can click a button to todays show or his archived shows. it is 2/3 the way down in the center of the page and is clearly marked.

on the day of the show it is posted late afternoon (i think) east coast time so you may listen to a current show on the same day of the show. ( i don't think you can listen to the show live through his website only through a radio station website that streams it live.

http://www.thestreet.com/m/index.html

the link below will take to jim cramer station finder, just scan it for an east coast station that streams his show live or as early as you can get, i guess i don't know for a fact if you can get it live or not be sure to le us know here if you learn if it is live and i'll do the same.

you might try looking at the state of maryland and WBIS 1190 am out of baltimore/anapolis for a the live stream of the jim cramer radio show.

hope this helps those that are interested.

i have no affiliation with thestreet.com or jim cramer's realmoney radio show or CNBC jim cramer's mad money cable television show

i was hoping there was a mad money audio or video archive somewhere. all i've been able to find on mad money is this louzy transcript site at http://www.pfblog.com/reasoned/cat_jim_cramers_mad_money.shtml actually is not that bad but i wouldn't trust it completely. anyways, thank you for sharing the info on his real money site. i've been listening to his radio show for the past few days. i noticed that by modifying the date in the link with today's date i can listen to it before they get around to updating their site. btw, does anyone here get his newsletter "Action Alerts PLUS"? unfortunately $300 a year is too much for me, anyone willing to share the cost of the subscription? or if you alredy getting it and have time, could you post a summary or know where i can find one?

jumbojack:

just to go on the public record and cover you legally jumbojack "starting the jim cramer's mad money forum was my idea not yours."

we are not posting near the detail of the transcript blog so i don't believe we will have any problem with cease and desist orders from CNBC.

i may look into the possibility of changing the name of the forum with the eInvesting.com administrator so people don't think the forum is affiliated with CNBC and so as to not attract the attention of the CNBC lawyers.

i'm certain there are other long standing discussion forums based on television or radio shows similar to this one aren't there? i just have to find out how they do it without having the corporate lawyers envolved.

jumbojack thanks for the listing of what happened on the jum cramer's mad money show!

i've reworked the title to this topic and included the below statements in the first posting under this topic to try and head off the cnbc from feeling the need to sends out a cease and desist order and shut down this topic.

would be interested to learn what you thought about it, but will understand if you want to stay out of it...

the statements are as follows:

also it may be prudent to hold your posts of specific things mentioned on his show until it has been broadcasted to all his market areas, the morning after the broadcast date of the show should due nicely.

i really do not want to get a cease and desist order from cnbc if you know what i mean as the creator of this topic.

i don't think it's really necessary to do this, we're not providing a trascript of the show here. even if you were to provide a very complete recap of his show cnbc can't shut you down. not long ago walmart, and several other retailers, threaten fatwallet.com for posting black friday specials in their hot deals forum arguing DMCA violation. it turned out that walmart didn't have a case. there's an organization called the elefctronic frontier foundation that provides help to those who receive this type of threats. anyways, pfblog is covering madmoney again; they must've realized that they can't be pushed around by those mofo's at cnbc

16 buys and 5 sells on tuesdays show. appears jim cramer is somewhat bullish on the short-term future prospects of the markets.

if in picking the right sector you make 50% of your gains then a bit of sector analysis may be in order.

looks like of the sells we have:

consumer goods
biotech
conglomerate
medical equipment
medical equipment

20% consumer goods
20% biotech
20% conglomerate
49% medical equipment

of the buys:

consumer goods
consumer goods
financial
services
services
services
financial
consumer goods
financial
basic materials
services
basic materials
technology
health care
technology
services

31% services
19% consumer goods
19% financials
12% basic materials
12% technology
6% health care

i don't know if this will have any practical value but here it is.

hey grimreaper:

i moved your below post over from the jim cramer real money topic over to the jim cramer mad money topic where it belongs.

grimreaper said:

Gotta luv Cramer's take on speculation tonight, a stock like GOOG which moved from 85.00 to 309 last year, SHLD which moved from 30.00 to 158.00 in 18 months, DUK which has doubled, those are not speculative stocks at this point, those are great long term plays to be put into your retirement account

So what do you consider a speculation Jim? "Well in Aug of 2002 I bought a basket of stocks which included, JDSU, LU, NT, GLW and by June of 2003 the entire speculative portfolio was up 40%!! HALLALUYAH!!"

Ohhhhh, I get it, all of those stocks were trading like they were about to go bankrupt back in Aug of 2002, it took discipline for you to hold them into Oct 2002 and take an additional 50% beating on those stocks before you acheived the payoff, but I think I get it, you want us to take a position in maybe something like CRAY, DDIC, XIDE, something like those under current market conditions, right Jim?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I want you to examine the balance sheets and look for something that has strong financials, like SIRI, or like AES!

SIRI, Jim?!! but SIRI keeps growing their subscriber base exponentially but they still keep losing money? and isn't AES deeply in debt?

Yeah but we are speculating here, and remember, I guarantee that when you speculate at least one of the stocks in your portfolio is going to go to zero!
