With the last news of AIG being cleared to IPO two of its divisions and repaying a large amount of its debt, what is your opinion regarding its hability to recover from the crisis and get back on its feet?

I luckily bought into AIG when it was near it's 52 week low. So far this news hasn't seemed to effected it's price.

I really hope the countries investment in this company wasn't for naught.
