Here's one that saves a lot of money, but I hate to do it: don't eat out very much. (ouch!) When we brown bag it to work and cook from scratch at home, we end up eating better & healthier and I've been surprised how much money it saves. (But I love eating out, too!)

I can't get get my husband to brown bag it to save my life. He refuses to sit in the cafetreria because its all women in there. All the men go out to lunch. I told him he could drive some where and eat in his car but he won't go for that either. Oh well... Rolling Eyes

I eat at school so i save money hehe. Secondly i save 40% of my "pocket Money" and 90% of my online revenue...Smile

Its really disheartening if i buy something very expensive, so i guess im a natural saver! hehe i worry about the future a little..Smile

I live at college and my apartment is a 10 minute walk from work but in between work and my apartment is a dining hall. I am always so tempted to grab food in there instead of walking back to my apartment because I feel that once I get back to my apartment and make myself something to eat I will have to run back to work and eat at work. I need to start bringing food, it's just difficult to remember in the morning

I always bring my lunch to work, but it's the snack machines that get me. I'll be bored and buy cokes, candy, etc.

I keep ramen at work. This encourages me to pack a lunch. If I don't, I don't eat out: I eat the ramen. Which, although cheap, isn't as good as last night's leftovers or sandwiches.
