Wow, it seems as though the investment knowledge of our little community has grown.
Just look at the monthly return! It use to be a low double digit return was a great accomplishment.
I wonder what's really going on? |

Sheeeeyot...anyone kin do it. Just find a stock dat makes wide price swings on about 5000 shares traded per day.....wait for it to trade to a low....go "all in!"....sell the 10%-20% rally on the next 200 shares purchased in real time. |

I have actually done this is real life using limit orders with small amounts of money. I do not know if it was the smartest thing to do but I made money with it at the time. Trading the huge spreads as Grim is talking about not the high returns |

I admit part of my returns are due to playing with low volume stocks but I also played with high volume stocks that wooped butt this month, like DNDN, JSDA and AVNR.
Sorry if low volume stocks are not allowed. I didnt know that, lol. |

Well I am certainly curious-
what are some low volume stocks that swing wildly that are over $2? |

Nothing wrong with low volume stocks, it just struck me how much higher the returns are getting! |

I think the returns are pretty much tied to the market, and we haven't had a real sell-off in a while, which is making you see higher returns. Even when we had that nasty day in February, the poor returns were only seen for a day or so until they reset.
I believe the saying is "you can't tell who is swimming naked until the tide goes out". |
