Anyone want to guess or make a game out of how high the gas will get per gallon this summer?
Also, any thoughts about it is time for or to purchase a hybrid yet? and Or does anyone have any good stories of gas saving if they own one? |

In NJ, we are between $2.80 and $2.95 per gallon. I honestly can't see them going up too much more... as they approach $3.00 per gallon people seem to get very scared and actually change their spending habbits.
On the other hand, I don't see them going down until September or maybe even later then that.
I'm glad I own (3) v8's and (1) v12 ....

First, I got to ask...what business are you in!?!? Owning those kind of cars your doing something RIGHT!!!
Anyhooo....I can not believe it! The EAST coast is cheaper than us in the Midwest! We saw gas prices today at $3.20 mark!!! And it's not even the summer yet!
Personally make my words...I am guessing or thinking we will see a $4 nationwide gas price average! But what do I know.... |

When (not if) USO breaks balow $49 taday yuns will see a more "definitive" view ov Earl's intenshuns. I say we see gas at da pump down to an average of 2.55 fer reggy nationwide within 2 weeks. USO now at 49.21. Get ready fo a blowoff top in da majer indicies based on tumblin Earl. |

| Here in NC it's ~$2.90 for Regular right now, and I'm guessing it'll hit ~$3.25 at the highest this summer around here. |

My brother took my mom out to finally replace her old Taurus wagon with a Toyota Prius. She lives in a small town in Wisconsin and the nearest grocery store (other than the gas station) is 7 miles away in Plymouth.
I just wish I hadn't bailed out on HTE (a Canroy) when I did because it had a nice payout and has bumped up farther than I expected lately.
I remember when I could fill an 18 gallon tank for $5.00 (23.9 to 26.9 cents/gal). Now you are lucky if you can fill your tank before the pump shuts you off at $50.00. |

The funny thing is that there is no rezun gas at da pump should be selling for any more than say 1.25! Eventually a correction in the tremendous inflayshun that is priced into everything will unwind. I'm not sho what ya paid fer da Prius....probly too much....but one o'da Reaper's tasks at hand is to free us from da Prius....sorry. |
