A little about them:
"IntraLase Corp. engages in the design, development, and manufacture of ultra-fast laser products for vision correction in the United States. It offers IntraLase FS Laser, an ophthalmic laser technology device, and related software and disposable devices for LASIK surgery. The company's products enable the safety, precision, and visual results of LASIK procedures by providing a computer-controlled laser solution in place of the handheld mechanical, metal-bladed, microkeratome used to create corneal flaps. IntraLase was co-founded by Tibor Juhasz in 1997. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California."
I became interested in this stock because of my interest in LSCP LaserScope (A dental laser company). Recently this stock has done pretty bad but I think because of October (with no news as to why) but has steadily come back from that. Has anyone else heard of this company? The Laser?medical business interests me, especially if it helps in reducing pain from using other means of operating on someone. |

This one is a toughie to evaluate, because its forecasted to grow at 50% per year over the next 5 years... even Google doesn't have that kind of expectations. Because 50% annually is such an outrageously high number, I used 25%.
Using that figure and a slightly higher discount value because there might be some extra risk here, I get a value around $27.
Using 50% growth, I get $67. Take your pick. I would need to look at this company ALOT more before I put any money into it. |

Thanks! I just noticed today that someone has it as a pick in the million $ portfolio. Im going to stay on this one, likely in and out but I do like it the potential in this stock, though i don't feel it's going to have 50% growth, it does still have a bunch of potential. |
