| Can parking be tax deductible? I am starting a new job downtown where I will have to pay to park. I'm probably going to get a permit. Can I deduct this expense? |

| I'm no tax person, but I don't believe you can. The cost of commuting to and from work is not tax deductible, I think. I know I didn't when I was in the same situation. |
