Screw the shortsighted traders, I wanted to see Microsoft test that 52 week high... which is basically the same as the FIVE YEAR high.

I think its bound to break through, because Microsoft WILL make a ton of money off Windows Vista, just a few months later than they would otherwise.

As it turned out folks - Vista should have been delayed for about another year to 18 mos. It was delivered with few drivers for the common peripheral devices. MS held onto the code too long and hoped the OEM manufacturers would get blamed for the problems people ran into trying to hook-up scanners, printers, mice, keyboards, etc. The truth is - MS couldn't take the heat and released an operating system that had not been sufficiently QA tested. 6 or 7 fixes and/or service packs later we may have a half-decent OS. Right now, it just a hair better than Windows 2000 ME - and believe me, that is POOR.

I scrubbed it and went back to XP , so much for Vista for me .

There's suppose to be a newer version in the line up now anyway . The next level of technology to tear our hair out over .

I just got a new VAIO shipped with vista. After about a day, I was online with Sony tech support to backdate it to XP. What a crappy OS! Sony said that it was a common request, and they have been backdating all the drivers to work for XP. Vista could be the most cumbersome, crappy Microsoft OS to date.
