I see I am in 2nd to last place. This is equally as difficult as being in first place. I will now reveal the secret -- I bought ADBE (Adobe) right around the time they merged with Macromedia. BUT, the stock split shortly thereafter and the eInvesting Software didn't handle it correctly. So in reality I'm up 10% or so, not down 50%.
In retrospect - I really SHOULD have bought that ADBE stock... but I'm just too big of a chicken. I've been burned too many times to really want to pick stocks. I'm a Index guy now - and at least when the market is down, I'm not the only one thats the big loser. |
