Ok so the guy mentions something bout CapstoneTurnbine and it goes up 40% off of supposed bogus info about WalMart making large orders for their product?

So this guy has the power to screw you, thats how I see it then I don't see him lasting much longer if he keeps that up.

I guess he pretty much has the Countries largest investing club. That comes with a lot of power. I doubt the SEC likes to see this very much.

It seems that you are correct to a degree as to the power a Cramer recommendation may have. CPST is probably a good example of this. Remember though we have to fight the urge to act on impulses(GREED).If you watched the show he did caution to go slow and look at this as a long term play. Look what happened during the tech. bubble when rock solid companies making solid profits year after year were ignored. We all could have made some real money by going with these established companies.
Again, I'm not defending Cramer as much as I'm saying, Listen to what he or anyone else is realy saying. Most of his recommendations are for long term (18mo.'s) but some will be short term or day trades which can burn you bad

Well if we want to talk insider trading you don't have to look further than Washington D.C. The average return percentage on capitol hill is something in the range of 33%. Hmmmmmmm............

Insider trading, and Analysts reports have long been the way to make money.

If you're able to make the play quickly after an analysts upgrade/downgrade you almost can't lose. On Newspaper stock challenges a number of years ago I was able to easily make large gains by following JP Morgan advice. Luckily the game was not particularly realistic and had instant transactions.
