Happy weekend,

I have under 500 dollars in my Scottrade account, and would like to transfer as much out of it without having to close my account there or pay any inactivity or minimum balance fees. Does Scottrade require a minimum balance? If so, what is it?

Thanks.

3. No Inactive Account Fees Or Account Maintenance Fees
Other brokers charge an extra fee for accounts that do not meet their minimum requirements. At Scottrade, there is no charge!

with scottrade when you buy shares under $10 they charge the commission and then 1/2 the principle, does that mean if i bought $500 of stock, id be paying 250 in principle?
