I think C-bow may have been right on with his 70.00 target Shocked this BIDU pig is firmly in the grasp of a sell mode yet the OBV is still way up there in the plus millions, that means ya'll thinks it's gonna rally and you don't wanna miss it, I think I'll wait fo da buy signal, then I'll watch yuns guys capitulate, then I'll buy for a trade Cool

Mr. Cwing has set the price!

Crap...I think I'd be way too nervous to touch this with real money.

Don't be skkered of the stock that took you to the top C-bow Very Happy why wouldn't you trade it? it's gonna run like a scalded dawg if youcan figure out appx at what price point it has a chance to run from, BIDU is actually a great lesson in trader sentiment, I think it wouldbe a good idea to just forget about da mawkets in general if you aren't trading anyway, grab yerself a brooski or twoski, put up da 10 to20 day chawt and watch it trade just tosee what the technical indicators do, I doubt a funnymental anal-yst could help ya learn when ta buy since there isn't enough funnymental data available on BIDU yet Very Happy

well, judging from their earnings (company profits) since inception, their stock is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too overvalued. people are just banking heavily on potential. Potential, to me, is not worth 2522624% it's worth in IPO. What I really want to invest in is Alibaba. when they release their IPO in feb of next year, i'll be jumping on the bandwagon and buying everything i can. at least they have a 35%, $1 billion backing by YHOO, with that potential to increase to 49.9%

Unless of course YHOO is trading off current levels by say 30% come Feb, then investor sentiment may not place such a premium on what YHOO does Very Happy I think the internet is goin outta style if you consider where the stocks are trading now and where they should be priced, of course the internet isn't going outta style Very Happy it's just that investors place too high of a premium on what it is worth IMO, if you look at the stock prices of GOOG, YHOO, OSTK, NTES, and a bunch of other overpriced internet crap a good technician might think so, a funnymental anal-yst might say sumthin like "exponential growth going forward based on the new emergence of the mass untapped market in China and India" Very Happy

yeah, but these internet companies are making billions off advertising. what better way to place your product than to make it pop up on a google-like homepage masthead in front of 2 billion people? i think GOOG is worth every penny of their $300 stock, considering the innovations and consistent earnings they produce.

Well join the club of fokes who think GOOG is worth it, with your addition that brings total membership up to 99.989% of all people who have an opinion on GOOG, I'm in the other camp and I think that there is also 1 or 2 people in Mexico that think GOOG sucks too Very Happy but you are correct, lots of fokes will see yer add on GOOG, and with company profits so strong I guess GOOG can ride the advertising gravey train into oblivion! Very Happy

Here is one guy a bit worried about GOOG:

Quote:
Some are starting to wonder what the company can do to live up to its lofty valuation. After all, Google is an extremely risky company since it is a one-trick pony.

Laughing No, I didn't, but I like the guy who did! Wink my last outlook at the GOOG vs YHOO board was that it would trade sub 268.00 before it traded through the nonconfirmed top it left at 318 recently, my last post about GOOG was that it would whoopsaw the ave trader to death because the ave trader is as wishy washy as Jim Cramer himself, he said it goes to 350.00 long term, I said it might, but as of now all it needs to do is get through the 52 week high, and I think the market still has some surprises for all those who just can't wait to get rich quickly Very Happy
