I've never been particularly impressed with PayPal, but as many of you have found, it's almost a must in some circumstances. |
InvestingMac, I think your idea is smart. I trust paypal and all, just not as much as a physical bank, so whenever my paypal = $$$, I send some of it to the bank to keep a nice safe little balance. |

| I use Paypal but never keep a large sum of money in it. At the most a couple hundred dollars and if there is more than that I transfer it to my regular account. |

| My Paypal use is the same as previous poster. I keep a balance only when I think I'll be making a purchase in the near future. Otherwise I transfer it out. |

I am with the rest of the posters, that Paypal is a great service, however, you should keep only a small sum of cash. I've been lucky and never had my account freeze up for no reason. If you want to park your cash at an online bank you may want to try ING Direct.

| Paypal seems to be reliable, but to be safe I would transfer money to your bank account every so often. |

| i only have about $20 in Paypal so i dont think it would benifit them that much to suspend or freeze me, and if it gets to high i would probably spend it on something...so i have no problems with paypal |

| I use paypal exclusively for ebay transactions, but I never store money in my account. I transfer the funds immediately. |

| I rarely leave money in my PayPal account. I sell a little here and there on ebay and when I've sold an item I will pay my fees out of the PayPal account and then transfer the rest. I haven't really checked with the site lately to see what is new....I usually skip over all their advertising. |

| No one really keeps that large amounts of money in it, because its just not all that trustworthy. Nothing will probably ever go wrong with it but who wants to take that chance? |

I have never really used my paypal account for anything but purchasing on Ebay until here recently. I never knew that there could be problems with keeping money in there. Looks like I need to correct that situation.
