A while back I was quite active on this site, then drifted away as my real portfolio shrank to a silly low amount and I stopped trading. Now I'm back in the game -- for real and here. With the economy as lousy as it is, I'm hoping to do well in trading to supplement my income. I'm 77 and don't have 40 years to fool around.

Thanks, Mose. My stocks all took a big hit Thursday along with the Dow, but today they shook themselves like a dog emerging from a lake and regained nearly all they lost. That's what makes trading exciting. If you pick good companies they can take a hit and come back. Due diligence is important.

My port is a little mixed right now, but should continue to make gains at least into Nov. I'm really watching the upcoming election though.

I'm sick of the TV ads. If I could order it, we'd have the election next Tuesday and be done with it, whoever wins.
