Sustainable Power Corp. Becomes Revenue Producing Company

Future Biocrude Shipments to Envirocompanies, Inc. Anticipated
BAYTOWN, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 13, 2008 -- Sustainable Power Corp. (Other OTC:SSTP.PK - News) is pleased to announce today that it has received its initial payment on the 7,000 gallons of biocrude that was purchased by the company's strategic partner, Envirocompanies, Inc. This payment represents the beginning of the income stream for Sustainable Power Corp. from its products. The biocrude is further refined and processed into BG100 biogas, jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, and marine fuel, Sustainable Power Corp. which will produce additional future income. Sustainable Power Corp. anticipates additional biocrude deliveries to Envirocompanies, Inc. this month and larger, more frequent deliveries next month. At the present time, Sustainable Power Corp. is pleased with the production from the operating reactor, but it is still working to upgrade existing components to maximize output.
John Rivera, Chairman and CEO of Sustainable Power Corp., stated, "Our goal is to consistently maintain our daily output of biocrude over the next few weeks, upgrade our reactor utilizing new components, and then begin to increase production resulting in consistent revenue growth."

| Is biofuel really a profitable industry? If they are using cellulose from corn still the yeild is still pretty low. There is a plant or two out by where I live and the last I heard they rely on government help to stay afloat. Another question would be is if biocrude is really the direction we are heading? |
