depends on how you view things- the market warns of recessions, but it not to after the recession is over do they actually confirm that it was a recession. Personally we have been in a recession for over a year.

just remember that recession just means all the strong stocks are on sale... i wouldn't play any of the riskier ones though- ahem... i didn't follow my own advice on one or my number would be a lot higher... but aapl's still doing me really good... tech on a whole still looks good, but i'm just holding it for now.

Well, here's anudder "fantasy" stock Arrow GOOG. Check it out in AH trading. Shocked AT&T's fortunes "might be" doomed by da duble whammy ov NOK which ALSO repotes tanight methinks. You are el correcto though Arrow T is a POS jist a Shirley as GOOG, AAPL, n RIMM are....but what did you expect from Cramer's pieces of horsechit basides a minimum of a 50% loss over time before he even says to sell? Yes, the market is in a recession and anyone who doesn't think so is kidding themselves. I'm sure many of our lifestyles have changed b/c of it. I have been trying to get into stocks such as EGLE (bulk shipping stock) and UPS (better than FedEx right now), ones that I think are sustainable to these tough times. There is a lot of talk about recession all over these boards, including InvestorsHub.com and MyWallst.net. Here are some blogs you could join in, too: [removed referral link]

Good luck in these hard times and hopefully it'll turn around for the better by the end of the year.

thanks for your valuable posts..

yea..i think recession is not here now for U.S economy. Drop in OIL market helped the U.S stock indices to get back in its position.

recently, the U.S stock market is going up and thanks to the Drop in Crude prices..

and recession is no more here for now...
