Yes it is back. After a year in hiatus, the monthly stock pick challenge is back. Rules are as follows.
You pick a stock and start with the opening price on the first trading day of the month. You have the choice of shorting your pick and your percentage in the red counts for the month end standings
If you wish to change your stock pick, just edit your reply and send me a PM.
Stock must be over 2.00 and there is not a maximum price limit.
You MAY choose a stock that is under 2.00 but you will automatically be in the red until it reaches the 2.00 minimum starting price.
Stock symbols must be valid and not have "." symbols in them, just like when using the simulator. Your pick also must trade between normal trading hours.
The volume restriction is that the stock volume must be above 100,000 by the last day of the previous month. Meaning if it's July's contest, the volume needs to be above 100,000 on June 30th.
The winners will be announced after the end of the month.
Oh yeah the winner's prize!!
1st: 50,000
2nd: 30,000
3rd: 20,000
4th: 15,000
5th: 10,000
Bonus 25,000 for ending with a gain of 25% or more.!

I'm neutral on GOOG n AMZN although ifn I was forced ta guess I wud say dey both go lower bafo dey go higher. Of the 4 pieces of horsechit Jim Cramer attempted to set long term tops in as fer as "grossly overvalued tech" goes....methinks GOOG has da best chot at retesting da 52 week high. Me also thinks RIMM is now toast after this recent "idiot run" ta $145+. AAPL "could see" 195ish....butt me doubts it sees $200+ bafo it sees $100-. Dere be da windup on the ONLY sector Cramer has not been able to top out as of yet.....grossly overvalued fantasy teck stocks.  Oh yeah, HAL will be the overall loser of this competition. |
