Better cardmember base translates to premium discount fees, plus the lending exposure means they're trading for about 14x earnings... stock typically trades for about 20x, and those past numbers include some streams that should be valued at a much lower multiple than the wide-moat transactional earnings.

However, as an FYI the company I work for just moved from AMEX to Chase for corporate cards for some reason.
