Hey everyone,
I haven't been investing for very long, and so I was hoping we could get a discussion going about which are the best brokerage firms out there in terms of customer service and prices? What do people recommend? |

It depends on what is most important to the investor cost or assistance?
Zecco = 10 free trades if you have a balance over $2,500; otherwise, it is $4.50 a trade. Very basic website and tools.
TradeKing = $4.95 a trade, good customer service and some good tools.
Scottrade = $7.00 a trade, better tools and resources.
All others, in my opinion, you are paying too much in commissions. |

| It really depends on what you want to do imo, just trading stocks or are you looking for exposure to a wide variety of markets and instruments? Apart from the previous posts I'd consider Interactive Brokers as well. |
