I'll respond to a real life example, but the example you gave wasn't realistic, my TIBX example was realistic because it is actually happening, why do you refuse to respond? if you owned TIBX from 7.25, held down to 6.15, and now you almost have your $$$ back, are you going to sell if it breaks below a certain price point again? or haven't you learned anything by following Cramer yet? I don't know how long you have been following JC, but I promise the scenario you laid out will never materialize, 95% of Cramer's picks will be at or within 20% of absolute top for the cycle, I'm wreckin you have only been following him for a short period of time, basically for the period of time where even a blind monkey could have made $$$ because the trend of the market has been up off the 1890ish Naz low, things are about to change so I want you to pay attention to what he says when things turn agin him |

grimreaper:
here's the real life example i was referencing i simplified it for you.
if jim cramer says to buy intel, (INTC) at $26 and, it doubles to $52, but he doesn't say sell until it hits $25.99.
using the rules of your test grimreaper, would you call this,
A) a winning trade
B.) a losing trade
just pick one grimreaper. it's really very simple, and then we can move on from there.
thanks!

Well Freeye, if you put it like that it would obviously be a losing trade, you would have lost .01 plus round turn brokerage commissions, did you really need me to figure this out for you?!! jeeeeesh, no wonder Cramer has such a dedicated group of worshipers |

thanks cwing!
that's one of my points of asking the question of grimreaper. there is a giant flaw in grimreapers test of the value of watching jim cramer's mad money show by logging his buy and sell calls on a particular stock.
you see it is based on a negative assertion, i also call it a false assertion.
an assertion is something declared or stated positively, often with no support or attempt at proof.
grimreapers assertion is by tracking a jim cramer buy call to a sell call from his mad money cable television would be a valid test of the value of watching the show.
i'm simply asking grimreaper for the proof of his assertion, and sadly so far grimreaper has failed to provide such proof.
jim cramer teaches on his show that you should always take a little money off the table when you're feeling a little piggish, what this means is if you have a good profit in a stock investment you are to sell some of the investment. you see jim cramer teaches that you are to decide when to sell.
he often says when he has a double or 100% profit in a stock like, my example question to grimreaper, that he likes to sell all of his original investment and "play with the houses money."
grimreaper will need to provide the support and proof of his assertion. otherwise he is conducting an invalid test.
a valid test needs to take into account what jim cramer teaches his viewers.
if you choose to proceed with your test grimreaper without correcting the test you will be convicting jim cramer based on faulty evidence.
grimreaper if jim cramer is even as half as bad as you say he is... it would be a lead pipe cinch for you to convict him with a simple fair test.
if you choose not to correct the test and go on with the faulty one then you will be essentially admitting to everyone at this website that you don't believe it can be done.
c'mon! grimreaper do the right thing!

Yo Freeeeeeeee yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiy, did ya hear what Cramer just said about GOOG? not only did the fokes who was tuning in to numbo Jimbo when he said buy GOOG at 275 hear da buy call, but da fokes who is tuning into him right now is hearing what amounts to a new buy call, why? cause JC wants you to buy buy buy and hold hold hold until the pig sees 350, now when the time comes for him to say sell, I doan wanna hear any of your BS about takin profits based on ones individual and arbitrary assumptions, cause this test is based on what Cramer says, not what you say, dig it?!! good! |

Nice! the idiot is falling right into my trap as expected, some BS artist came on and said his son quadrupled his money in the few months that Mad Money was on, which of course was a crock of chit since in the short time the show has been on Cramer hasn't recommended 20 stocks total that would have quadrupled your money if all 20 picks were lined up back to back! the truth is that the Cramer Mad Money flunkie was gettin his butt whooped because he followed JC's oil picks, so what does Cramer say to do? apply rule #11, Freeye, if you check rule #11 it says to average down into a loser until you have lost 50% of yer bankroll! I told you this idiot would not realize he is gettin his butt kicked until the size 12 was plunged one full meter up his rectum! |

hey everybody notice all the personal attacks and name calling in grimreaper's posts since i called him out on his faulty test.

at the end of it i wrote...
.... "if you choose not to correct the test and go on with the faulty one then you will be essentially admitting to everyone at this website that you don't believe it can be done."
well so far... it looks like grimreaper is admitting it can't be done.
those of you that have taken part on a debate team know the best sign you can get from your opponent short of a conceding defeat is when the opposition resorts to personal attacks and name calling.
well grimreaper you didn't actually admit it... but the increase in the personal attacks and name calling did.
you can still save yourself if you do the right thing, grimreaper.
c'mon... please... do the right thing!... it's not too late!
