The purpose of this thread is to discuss YOUR very best pick. This is a pick that you would use if you had only one asset to buy. The time horizon for your pick should be at least a year, and no greater than five years.

Let the names begin...

My pick is BRCM (4-year horizon)...

Why BRCM? It's P/E ratio is out of sight. If you want to make a semi-conductor play why not go with Intel? They are huge and far more stable than Broadcom and they have far greater technical resources at their command. I don't see Broadcom being able to hold-up against Intel - - - of course, if Intel were to buy Broadcom, the holders of Broadcom stock would stand to gain quite a bit.

stockmarkettips's pick of FSLR for the year-long game was great, and unless the company's officers do something stupid, I don't see any solar-power companies losing out on money in the near future.

I think I would either have to go with MA or PCP. Precision Castparts (PCP) is playing such a big role in the assembly of the Boeing 787 and not that many average joe traders know about it. It has been capping at its 52 week high and they way i see it it is only going to get better. Remember everybody PCP and Boeing.

If it ain't Boeing, it ain't going!!!!
