| Hi everybody I'm new to this forum and I was wondering about overseas banks. I was told that banks overseas have some of the highest interest rates. If somebody could help me with that question and maybe list some of the banks that have high intrest rates like over 8 to 10% I would be greatful. The only issue I have is if I put over a million dollars in one of those banks would it be protected if something happens to that bank. Is there any bank in the U.S. that has a 8 to 10% intrest rate that would protect my money if its over a million dollars? Please help me with some of these questions please. |

Doesn't the FDIC only insure for up to 100,000 in U.S. banks?
I have wondered what those millionaires do with their money. Do we have any millionaires at this site who could shed some light? |

| If you are looking to deposit more than $100k, you can just use different banks - i.e. BoA, Citi, USB, etc. |

Thats what I kind of expected. Seems like a hassle to have all those accounts. It must suck to have that problem! |
