I have been closely watching both Dell and Intel and was waiting for a drop to make them a better value. I luckily added Dell to another portfolio yesterday, and am now going to be paying attention to what ramifications the Dell-AMD deal has on Intel. I've been a very bad eInvestor in particular the last couple days, as you can probably see from my excellent return.
Intel was actually rating well on a new screen I designed - I'm impressed with the company's ability to generate cash. If this AMD development won't significantly impact earnings for Intel, I might be inclined to buy some INTC. |

Not quite, but at least we didn't sink any further. DJI up 15.77 (+0.14%) // Nasdaq + 13.56 (+0.62) // S&P + 5.22 (+0.41). My portfolio is +0.73% and I'm absolutely thrilled with that after the last coupla' days.
Wow! I thought I got a good deal on INTC when I picked it up at $21.50. I'm getting close to adding at these bargain prices. |

I don't think so, because Intel has 50% market share in the graphic sector (thanks to their integrated video). Also, Intel's Larrabee project targets to overthrow nVidia in the discrete graphic sector.
And finally, anti-monopoly laws will prevent an operation like that. |
