Ya hasta admit though...da numbas I threw out at da masses proved ta be EXTREMELY accrut. Shocked There were at least 2 excellent trades in AMD....including one where I said to buy at 12.95. Did you see the low from last week? Shocked Scaaaaary.....ainna? Very Happy The only thang dat remains ta be seen is how accrut I will be in my purrdixshun ov where this move will top out. I bet yer gonna go check da numba I mentioned in my initial "prognosticayshuns" as soon as ya finished paroozin this post....aren't ya? Good idea! Laughing

Yeah, right...AMD will go sub $5 dallahs. Rolling Eyes Shocked Based on da last trend low it now gots a date mit sub $6 dallahs. Ifn it opens lower from the current 7.32 ta say 7.25 a newer and gooder and lower trendlow comes in which gar-own-tees a date sub $5 dallahs. Wink But dere was noooooo way ta see dat 6 mumphs ago. And there be nooooo way to see dat INTC will suffer da same fate at AMD right cheeeya right now. But sho nuff sho nuff Arrow INTC to sub $10 dallahs. Wink

I doan see why not. Even though da move to 7.26 this moanin means it will indeed break balow $5....just like me said it would when it twas up there at $16 Cool ....what you bees seeing taday in da mawkets is nuthin mo than the money runners taking advantage of fokes who trade like idiots. Anybody who bought the rally into Xmas is now selling at a loss...but da money runners will "bring em back up" into da New Year so that they can sell and take boootimus gains without tax consequences until April 2009. Wink The next rally will surely include AMD for a nice enuff gain to make you a 2 day hero on Fast Muny Flunkies....becuz a 5-10% 2 day gain gets ya a nice back slap on dat silly show. If yer happy wit 5-10% then feel free to chase AMD on any rallies. I'm slammin it down ta sub $5 though....and I dare ya ta stop me. Very Happy

AMD will not return. It's going down farther and farther. INTC and NVDA are best of breed and they will rise while AMD falls.

YES, but it will take a few years of getting ATI settles into the company before we see AMD in the 20's again, but it will get there. I would go with reapers outlook and watch for low 6's or high 5's before you get in. ATI and AMD are far to integral in the computer industry to fall to far out of favor.

In genrul, da mawkets are about to go into "switcharoo" mode. Ifn you remembah, there was once a time where you wasn't keepin up wit da Jonses unless you was gettin a DELL. AAPL couldn't sell a pooter ta nobudy no way no how. Now ya isn't hangin wit da right fokes ifn ya isn't payin 70% mo fo yer electronics than ya shud be. Wink Dat be why yer probly sayin AAPL be gud....even though I didn yet read any of yer AAPL postes....I just bet dat you's sayin AAPL is a yowza. Very Happy Yowza yes, but fer how long?....till the next Naz move to retest 2700? Confused I'd definutely rather buy a DELL on a 30% pullback than an AAPL....that's fo sho. Wink

I think we must watch AMD, their shares are really cheap. Right now they have problems trying to launch their Phenom processors, but i think those problems could be solved in the Q2 2008. Also, AMD is trying to reduce cost, they could adopt a "fabless" strategy or focus in the mainstream and value market.

I hope AMD will be profitable again in the second half 2008. They have a tough road by the fierce competition imposed by Intel in the CPU market and nVidia in the GPU market.

Maybe AMD is concentrating efforts to launch their most ambicious project as soon as possible, the Fusion processor, a processor which integrates CPU and GPU in the same die. That's one of the reasons why decided to buy ATI. Other reason is to offer a complete platform to the market, as Intel does. That's a risky move, but absolute necesary for their long-time strategy. I hope they survive until their long-time has come, hehehe.

I think AMD reports errrrnuns tonight. This errrrnuns repote will more than likely be the one that brings er down into the Reaper "zone ov influence" Cool I'm can't remembah what da numba was fer AMD's final destination....cept to say it will most definuttly break balow $5 like me said it wud when it wassa waaaay up there abov $30....and I said agin when I began this bored as AMD wassa tradin in da teens. I think da numba is ackchooly balow $4 now though. Shocked Oh yeah, since fokes across da nayshun try and point out how wunnerful INTC is compared ta AMD....lemme point out dat INTC also has a date mit sub $10 dallahs...so doan be fooled by da GOOG errrrnuns repote. Remember Arrow Errrrrnuns doan mattah! Wink What mattahs is what da 5 year chawt says.....and INTC isn't even close to March of 2003 levels yet. As we all "should know" becuz I told ya....and what I toldja is law...there ainna no foolin da mawkets in the end. Wink
