Sen. Judd Gregg, a republican from NH was just interviewed by CNBC, he just said that his side of the isle in Congress intends to throw your $$$ at rebuilding the Gulf coast, when axed if that would push back Dubya's target of 2009 for balancing the budget he said that he doesn't see why that target has to be changed, especially if the economy moves along at a nice clip, lawmakers like Judd Greeg are the type of fokes who is good for inflation, and bad for the survivors of hericane Katrina we'll see what da fokes of NH think of Sen Gregg next year, I think NH is one of those states that is "under the ether" though, so he'll probably get re-elected |

| There is more spinning going on on both sides of the aisle I can't decide who to vote for this year. One thing for sure - who ever wins - more $$$$ will come out of the taxpayers pocket. Whether it's Slick Willy tapping into the General Fund (which houses SS since Lyndon Johnson put it there) to come up with a magical surplus so he would have something positive to leave as a legacy or "W" spending us into near oblivion to start multiple wars on multiple fronts - - - we lose and our pocket books and those of our children and grandchildren get tapped more, and more, and more! It never changes regardless of which side of the aisle is raping you this term. |

What a line up to choose from though .
Tough election to pick an advocate in , fortunately they still give Presidential pardons to turkeys .....are the turkeys running ? I'd vote for them first , they're the only ones worthy of the pardons dished out .
The spin kings are just making everyone dizzy , that's their job .
If you can't convince them , confuse them ! |

| Boy are you ever right. It is really sad. I have voted in every election since Lyndon Johnson - I have voted Democratic, Republican, and Independent (Perot) and I have always vored for the person - not the party; but this time I am really at a loss. I am half tempted to write-in Donald Duck - at least I feel he would be more truthful than any of the candidates running this time in either party. The republicans are trying to out liberal the liberals, the Democrats are trying to out conservative the conservatives and the one libertarian candidate is talking about seeing flying saucers. It's difficult to tell whether we are watching a battle for the Presidential election or the Sunday funnies. Sad - - - very sad! |
