Agreed on the forward earnings point. I guess my point is that things aren't as "pricey" as some would believe with the markets hitting highs and such...

With the market nicely off highs, no, they wouldn't be as pricey as they have been. Still, valuations right now are too high for my liking, but since when have they ever been low enough for my liking? Rolling Eyes Razz

Tech is setting itself up for NAZ 3000. The big money is flowing out of oil, industrials, and financials. The new "safe haven" is tech (which is ironic-don't ya think?). The NASDAQ will get to 2999 by December 31st, and you guys will call me a liar because I was off by a point...

BTW, I expect a big up week for stocks this week. If it does come to fruition, expect much more to follow for the remainder of the year. The VIX is nearing a peak, and should plummet this week (IMHO)...

Da Naz will hit 2100 before it even attempts to retest the recent 2724.74 high....and doan git mad at me cause I said it would peak at 2725...and missed by .26 points! Shocked I can't remember who it was...but sumbudy said ya can't pick a bottom OR a top wit any kind ov accrucy. Rolling Eyes Anyhoo, AAPL will easily lose 30%+ of its current value....and ya kin tack on da estree 15% it already lost from it's high ifn yawnto since it doan mattah ta me no way no how. Cool Once da Naz sees 2100 we kin look fer a majer rally. Whether or not it takes out da 2725ish high er not is immaterial....since it aaaall will depend on where da VIX is at dat time. Rememba, da VIX gots a date wit sub 9.50 at sumtime in da future. Da bears failed miserably as fer as I'm concerned. Ifn they coulda gots da VIX ta break balow 9.50 bafo it made thisa heeeeya run da Naz woulda had absolutely no shot at 3000 bafo AAPL hit $20! Shocked Laughing

Grim,

LOL! You have been bearish on the markets for a year or more since I've been posting here. You are jumping for joy now like you are some kind of genius. When the markets rebound you will find some way to twist your predictions like you are still a genius.

You definitley have a future career as a politician in my opinion. Some how you twist all the noise in your favor, despite your past estimates.

Which one o'my "noise" calls did ya like da best?

1). When Cramer and da Fast Muny Flunkies wassa aaaall ova GS at $230 I said GS was da evil empire and da direct result of their shennanigans (and other POS banks like GS) would be a catlist fer a majer mawket tumble.

2). When Dubya B was callin da bottom in real estate annna TOL wassa at 29.50...I said Arrow "Ut uh" Shocked

3) how bout thisn dat hasn't even materialized yet cause we's still in inning 1. When gas at da pump wassa at $3+ dallahs I said it be comin waaaaay down. I also said da Earlpig stocks would go into a majer loooong term tumble and Stat would "give up da divi!" Laughing

I could slide on ova to da mo posi side o'thangs...but since you already capitulated I doan wanna rub it in. Crying or Very sad Laughing

I was bearish when da DOW traded about 200 points above my top tawget too! Laughing Regretfully, I doan follow da DOW too closely...although I do follow several o'da POS stocks dat make up da DOW. I thunk I did "OK" wit da Naz...I mean...EVERY single one o'da POS I chorted and took on 20%+ losses in are now in da green!...and then some! Cool Purty kewel how da mawkets eliminate the excesses far mo quickly than it took ta build up da excesses....which intrustingly enuff is ALSO one of da purrdixshuns I made. You remember?...da werst pawt of a frenzy is the last pawt...then a stock like AAPL loses 50% in a mattah of weeks? Cool You doan needs ta be skeeered ov fokes like me who "are" da mawkets (ifn ya kin even find a sooperhero when ya need one dat is). You need ta be skeered ov fokes that pump chit at a multi year high....raise tawgets even higher....refuse to take profuts....ride the first wave down for a sizable loss...wait for a lower high to be made on a reflex DCB and then buy that rally at almost the exact top...and then hold on as lower lows are made. That's what Cramer does. Wink Here's a stock you kin follow so you'll know what I'm tawkin bout as it materializes bafo yer eyezes Arrow VLO Shocked You may wanna watch dat'n in betwixt scourin the daily trades to see ifn there's a low volume high bid/axed spread stock ya kin play at various trade simulators in order to make yerself look like ya know WTF yer tawkin bout. Laughing Rolling Eyes Arrow Joker

Okay fellas. The markets look to be bottoming, but may due for a little more pain. I still expect the NAZ to reach 3000 by the end of 2007 as previously predicted at the start of this thread. If the markets digest the "credit crunch" in the next few weeks, the NASDAQ will be off to the races towards 3000. I bet it will be a very close call to reach this level by year's end....

A wonderful base has been built for NAZ 3000. I want a high-five from everyone if we get there before December 31st, 2007...
