So that dollar cost averaging is good for your 401(k) if Friday is payday. Laughing

I seemed to notice that some time ago too. In reality it varies, but day traders do not like to sit out the weekend in the markets, and things can be volitile on Fridays that options expire. Of course this Friday it was overreaction to news that probably took out a lot of tight stops at the last minute, driving things further down. Maybe other people expecting a last minute rally like the previous 2 days where also taken by surprise and bailed out before they lost more.
