You pick a stock and start with the closing price on the last day of the previous month. You have the choice of shorting your pick and your percentage in the red counts for the month end standings
If you wish to change your stock pick, do not edit your reply. Please make a new reply (and send me a PM with your new pick) or your pick will be disqualified.
Stock must be over 5.00 and there is not a maximum price limit.
You MAY choose a stock that is under 5.00 but you will automatically be in the red until it reaches the 5.00 minimum starting price.
Stock symbols must be valid and not have "." symbols in them, just like when using the simulator. Your pick also must trade between normal trading hours.
There is no volume restriction.
The winners are announced at the end of the month.
Oh yeah the winner's prize!!
1st: 50,000
2nd: 30,000
3rd: 20,000
4th: 15,000
5th: 10,000
Bonus 5,000 for ending in the black, or red if you shorted your pick!
Ok this month going forward, the top five do not get the "in the black" bonus because of the increase in payouts.

I'll take BEAV short. This pig reports earnuns either Mon or Tue afta da close. Should be a stellar earnuns report I'm wreckin based on how da stock has been trading lately. Yet another Cramer fav-o-wrong stock that is eventually a single digi stock. Just like last munth's play JSDA.....which is really pee-a-zissin me off cause I am chort JSDA to da tune ov 20% ov my VSE trading port and they hasn't recognized my order to cover with a $50K profit on the seckond halfa my position!  |

JRW has authorized me to change the payouts for the Monthly Stock Pick contest to the following. I will post the changes in the contest today.
