Have you guys seen Fast Money on CNBC?

It's one of those stock shows. There are four stock pickers, you can say four cramers if you want. They actually shows what their bad calls were. At least they are honest about their bad picks.

Oh yeah, those guys are almost as good as Cramer. Rolling Eyes They have a good moderator in Dylan Rats(I lost again)!!! too. I like the way he got his hair all tye-dyed n purty now that they gave him another show to mess up since the ratings on his old show....Gone Da Money...were hittin da skids faster than T.M Vetelmo's real $$$ long position in FNSR. I'm sure that's why they gave the Gone Da Money slot to Melissa Frances. When she gives anal-ysis about the energy mawkets which is her specialty it's like "OK, crude oil is down today, neat, I wonder if Chavez is got something to do with it? Oh well, I guess it could be up soon so stay tuned and we'll keep ya posted" Of course nobody is lisnen to her anyway since were all starin down her blouse to see if she be sportin a push up bra. But dat be the type of show that will generate great viewer interest so it looks like Gone Da Muny has a future. Anyhoo, back to Tim Strazini, Eric's Balding cause he can't read da chawts (they was upside down), the udder guy that looks like he flips pizzas, and da bald dude... da Fast Muny flunkies. I do like the fact that they admit their crappy trades like they did yesterday....they don't list their worst trades though. Like last week when 3 of the 4 Fast Muny flunkies were all over CAL exactly 1 day before it fell 10%+. Dylan Rats spins a measly 5-7% gain in 10 trading days as a great trade when on the other hand these clowns are calling chit hittin the skids for 10%+ drops immediately after they say buy as super long term trades! Typical CNBC BS! Laughing

well the show is def more entertaining than cramer (who i have grown to hate over the past few months), and certainly more informative...but the bottom line is DYOD - take inspiration from all sources but follow up with your own judgements

I was going to ask the same question here. I thought Fast Money is on @ 5pm M-F, is it?. I like it better than Mad Money because it doesn't resort to annoying antics and useless fanfare just to get ratings. Mad Money seems to cater more to college kids and is more show that substance. With Fast Money, each one has a take on a stock and the moderator/host analyzes it or plays devil's advocate.. Everyone gets an opinion and they have to back up their picks. It will take some time before you can determine who among the 4 is the best stock picker.

Yeah! great show! Ya got a drama queen masquerading as a ring leader, a guy who doesn't realize his chawts are upside down, a bald dude who's gonna pump retail until he grows hair on his head, a thug who will try and intimidate your stock into rallying....who happens to be my favorite cause he makes the bald guy wanna go Nazi on him Laughing dat's sum funny chit. Laughing And then there is the guy who hedges his calls until he is proven wrong...then he hangs in there until we aren't sure....yet anyway. Fast Muny Flunkies is just as entertaining as Cramer's a Mad Monkey if ya axe me. Very Happy

It usually takes the Fast Muny flunkies at least 2 weeks for their picks to move 3% so they try to time the shows accordingly....plus it gives Dylan Rats! I lost again! a chance to practice his best "drama queen" delivery Arrow "Where's the trade? What's your move? Did you catch the 3% move in stock XYZ? That's fast money" Rolling Eyes I feel sorry fer Eric's Balding (cause he can't read a chawt). The best trade he ever made was having 2 seats on the NMX werth 90K shares each. Of course when his lockup period ends in 6 months he'll be down 50% from where the stock is trading right now. I'm wreckin he'll be saying buy of course. Idiot. Rolling Eyes

Regretfully I am gonna hasta give Fast Muny Super Flunkie Eric's Balding (cause he can't read a chawt) credit where credit is due for making perhaps his best call in his life on Fri....even though it was meant in jest I baleave. On Fri's edition ov Fast Muny Flunkies ole Eric made CROX his play for the open (as a short) on Mon because he used Reaper logic. This being Super Bowl weekend....of course CNBC had to send one of their "on crack" reporters down to Miami to give a "so full of nonsense there has to be a story in there somehwere" report from Pro Player Stadium. I'm not sure who the reporter was...in genrul I doan pay attention unless they become stoopid enuff to actually make mawket commentary. This guy was just sent down there to report da obvious. During Squawk Box they dressed him up like a guy who was thinking about coming outta da closet about da fact that he was gay. One of the items he was wearing was a $75 pair of CROX shoes. As anybudy with any common sense knows....we stoppped pourin goo into plastic molds back in the 1970's when them $10 goo machines we thunk were neat went out like da plaid britches I'm wearin taday. Back then ya could actually eat da goo ya created....my fa-vo -right ones were da yummy strawgerry spiders. I used ta mix em in wit my BOO Berry cereal and let it all turn ta soggy goodness. Anyhoo, I'm gettin just a "little" off track. Very Happy The point is that ifn fokes will spend $75 fo a pair o'molded plastic shoes just cause Cramer thinks it's neat to the point where CROX are required attire for yer Super Bowl "after pawty" Arrow IT'S GOTTA BE A TOP FER CROX!!! ...no? Confused Great call Eric...da Reaper behind ya on thisn. We'll watch this strategery next year and see what CNBC has cookin up from next year's Stooper Bowl. Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Even though it is obvious dat Eric's Balding (cause he can't read a chawt) made da perfecktly timed chort call on CROX (blessed by da Reaper), ole Eric is easily the werst trader on da Flunkie crew. Doan get me wrong....they are all WAY off on da long term pickture. But since most fokes base performance on short term calls Arrow Eric's Balding is fo show da king o'da flunkies. Wink Strazini is more conservative in the type o'chit he tawks about....so mosta his plays taken as a basket probly won't get ya hurt too badly over time. Although he did take AAPL over MO in their Final Four competition. Rolling Eyes MO will only get cut in 1/2 during da coming mawket calamity. AAPL will get cut in half at least 3 times! Shocked So dat leaves Guy Adami and Jeff Mackie. Adami is definitely the fast trader/hedge fund manager style playa. Jeff Mackie concentrates on retail and since the retail seckter hasn't begun to acknowledge the rammifications ov da RE problems as of yet....Mackie has the best record on calls made since the show started. So basically as of right now I would say Mackie has shown steady gains slightly outperforming da mawkets. Strazini has kept ya steady along wit da mawkets. You would be down a tad ifn you were buying the wrong Adami calls he shows conviction in..... but outperforming Strazini and Mackie ifn ya played the ones Adami got correct, like AAPL, BHP, n NYX from lower levels. If you did EXACTLY as Eric's Balding had told you to do WHEN he told you to do it yer port would look like Gugaplex's real $$$ port. Shocked Just playin witya there Gug's, hope ya kin take a joke. Very Happy

Oh! You axed about Cramer too!....how could I miss an opportunity to slam Cramer?!! Laughing Let's just look at summa Cramer's calls that applied to this past week. Last fri during his Lame Plan segment on each Fri's Mad Monkey show he said to be buying BRCD into its earnuns repote. Ifn ya did Arrow Congrats!....you got CRAMERD!!! Sidenote: Gapup in BRCD on Mon provided by Cramer....gapdown after earnings news provided by Cramer's flock ov idiots. Wink On Mon moarnin wit da luvly n wunnerfull Erin da dumb Brunette, Cramer splained dat earnuns mattered fo FSLR...so dat be why you should look at a stock like FSLR which was already above $58 when Cramer spewed....and go ahead and buy it at $58.50 just becuz Cramer spewed...by Fri you would have found dat yes! Arrow You got CRAMERD!!! Wink Last night on Mad Monkey Cramer realized that one of his picks for 2007, BBI, suddenly became a SELL! SELL! SELL!...oh yeah, he "says" he told ya ta buy it at $3...but as we all know....if he said to buy it at $3 you actually bought it at $4 cuz ya couldn get it at $3 based on what happened in after hours trading. But that's OK....cause he liked it at $5.50....you coulda bought it there....or even the next day at $6.30 cause the fokes who heard him say he liked it at $5.50 bought in after hours trading. If not ya still had one or 2 mo chances ta get in cause Cramer liked it at 6.50....AND the 52 week high he himself created! Laughing But as ov last night....he doan like BBI no mo so ifn you are long come Mon I'm afraid Arrow You got CRAMERD!!!! Rolling Eyes Laughing
