oh, make sure to try out the Math's problems, you earn $1000 if you're the first correct answer and also possibly win a little portfolio (I'm assuming the money from the portfolio)

The best way to learn is to read and ask questions, and there are plenty of people here who will help you out with both. Have you read any investing books?

Hi Mr. Not Buffett,

Hey all! I'm not exactly new, but have been out of the loop for a bit. I notice we have many new folks, and I look forward to competing/talking trash with them Smile As for Mr Frusnak, give me a few days buddy, I'll take you out! Laughing

Coming to you from the beautiful state of Montana, this father of five, grandfather of 4 has a pretty good track record for the year (when I say buy Ford, I'm not kidding Wink ....but not now). Other favorites include HDI, SVE, HSY, and (again, not now!) INTC. When nervous, I bail to the overseas markets, and when VERY nervous am not too proud to sit it out in cash.

Just one comment at this point....October's coming, do you know where YOUR investment dollars are? Strap yourselves in, this should be a great roller coaster ride. Wink

I have have traded stocks, option futures and currencies over the years and if there is one thing I have learned, its that simulated trading is much less expensive. I'll leave my real money to the mutual fund managers and do my risk taking here.
