| rules are ment to be broken my friend. if you're still an ameritrade member you should call them and ask them to switch to izone, threaten to cancel if they won't do it. izone is only been around for a month, apparently they've lost quite a few customers that didn't want to make the switch from freetrade to ameritrade. nobody's really breaking any rules, the pr's call this 'customer retention program' |

Doh! But at least I gave it a shot, right?
This is what they had to say:
| Quote: | Dear Valued Izone Client,
Thanks for your interest in Izone. Your message has been forwarded to us for
reply. The answer is we do require the two years of experience, and are unable
to waive that requirement. Please continue trading with Ameritrade until the
two years' experience applies, and then we can make easy work of transferring
your assets here, at your request at that time.
Sincerely,
Client Services
Ameritrade Izone

I have my account up and running now, and can actually say that I miss my Ameritrade account already. Ameritrade flat out has a far better interface. I think that I will eventually get used to Scottrade, but that might take a while. In other news: the grass still is greener on the other side. |

Anyone who trades online through Ameritrade had better be careful, if you noticed during that quick Naz dumping that happened as crude traded to 60.00 the site gets slowed down to a crawl whenever the daytraders start dumping at the drop of a hat, if the Naz goes into a nosedive and you don't have your stop set you may end up getting surprised where your stock is at when A-trade's site gets back to normal, BTW, you may want to set your stop on AMTD real tight, the idiots who bought this rally on news are about to get dumped on it looks like, I guess there's an irony to that |

Scottrade is starting to grow on me a bit. I made my first order today and can say I already can appreciate how much lower the comission is compared to Ameritrade |
