I'm thinking about losing the stock ticker at the top of all the pages. Does anyone use it or like it?
Right now it's throwing off the design a bit too...(Spacing isn't right).
Anyway, the pages would probably load a little faster too without it.
Let me know what you think. |

It should help somewhat. Lets lose it and let me know if you notice a difference. If not, it might be the same for a while till we get a dedicated server. I'd say we'd need at least a couple thousand members to justify the cost though.  |

Page does seem to load a bit faster at times too. Cool.  |

The things that make the ticker slow are 1) loading the java applet, and 2) waiting for it to get the quotes. I think ditching it was a good idea.
Need to update this graphic for the header though 
The very bottom right corner of the graphic as the "end" of the former ticker on it still. |
