I'm thinking about losing the stock ticker at the top of all the pages. Does anyone use it or like it?

Right now it's throwing off the design a bit too...(Spacing isn't right).

Anyway, the pages would probably load a little faster too without it.

Let me know what you think.

It should help somewhat. Lets lose it and let me know if you notice a difference. If not, it might be the same for a while till we get a dedicated server. I'd say we'd need at least a couple thousand members to justify the cost though. Wink

It doesn't HAVE to be something nice about me or this site...but it doesn't hurt. Wink

The things that make the ticker slow are 1) loading the java applet, and 2) waiting for it to get the quotes. I think ditching it was a good idea.

Need to update this graphic for the header though Smile

The very bottom right corner of the graphic as the "end" of the former ticker on it still. Wink
