Hello all! I am very interested in learning to invest in various different ways. Last year I was financially in the dumps. I did not have a regular job and was painting houses to make some money. Unfortunately it was only enough to keep the lights turned on and ramen noodles in the cupboard. Now that I have a job I am working very hard to pay off my credit card debt (all 5 cards were maxed to pay utilities and rent) and to save up for an emergency. Once that is done, I will be able to invest. In the meantime, I want to learn whatever I can so I'll be ready to go when my finances are in order.
Thanks for letting me share. |

Welcome Ziemerd!
Hope you learn a lot here. I know I have!
It is a GREAT feeling when they are all paid off, good luck to you! (I had 3 of my own once college was finished) Maybe once you get a couple down you can get one with a large balance and 0% rate to transfer them all. Those finance charges make it really tough! |

| Once you get your credit cards down, get rid of some of them. If you need to, ask the companies to lower your limit. Maybe you will be less tempted then. Stick to the cards that give you rewards. Good luck! |
