I had to laugh at Im Not Warren Buffetts example, as I just had to use my computer toolkit extendable retractor thingie (don't know what it's really called, it has a set of wires that can extend to grab something when you push the button) to retrieve a rock my youngest boy had stuffed up his nose. Laughing

As to the questions:

close, but nope, you're in the ballpark

Can we get a lower magnification?

Not yet, mainly because I'm at work and the files are all at home.

I will post a lower magnification tonight.

Not a hotdog. Laughing

Here's a 60x resolution image of the same item:

Remember this is a very small part of this item shown at 60 times magnification. There is a slightly higher chance of getting the guess right here, but I'm betting it's going to go to 10x before the item becomes really obvious.

heh, y'all have to read the topic before posting. Wink

I've posted that this is something that is edible. Hm, well, skin could be edible, but let's put it another way, this item is expected to be edible. In fact, some of you may have had this item for breakfast this morning, perhaps.

Grim has - at least for the moment - decided that he doesn't need his cash and has donated it to me. I don't need it either. Smile So as a result, this prizes in this contest just gained a zero on the end. Since the initial contest was already underway I will not change the rules, I will just add the zero making the prize for the first challenge e$5,000 rather than e$500 as originally stated.

The next contest will have a sliding scale, with e$10,000 as the prize if you guess at the 200x magnification, e$5,000 for 60x, and e$1,000 for guesses at 10x, or e$500 for guesses at normal 1x. Those prizes will start with the next challenge. Something to look forward to. Cool
