Since Vetelmo hasn't gotten around to starting a thread for next month's competition, I'm opening one so anyone who already has a stock can get in and reserve it.
I'll leave it to Vet to post the rules and whatnot later.

You pick a stock and start with the closing price on the last day of the previous month. You have the choice of shorting your pick and your percentage in the red counts for the month end standings
If you wish to change your stock pick, do not edit your reply. Please make a new reply (and send me a PM with your new pick) or your pick will be disqualified.
Stock must be over 5.00 and there is not a maximum price limit.
You MAY choose a stock that is under 5.00 but you will automatically be in the red until it reaches the 5.00 minimum starting price.
Stock symbols must be valid and not have "." symbols in them, just like when using the simulator. Your pick also must trade between normal trading hours.
There is no volume restriction.
The winners are announced at the end of the month.
Oh yeah the winner's prize!!

2nd: 20,000
3rd: 15,000
4th: 10,000
5th: 5,000
Bonus 2,500 for ending in the black, or red if you shorted your pick! |

Thisn looks purty intrusting there Yogi. I like da fack dat it already be close to March o'2003 levels.  I only wish I had been following it when it made the 3.11 low. I may hasta stawt trackin er but I hopes ya keep us psted.  I like yer 2007 long term pick DRL too....but I'm thinkin da downside bafo da upside might be a tad sooprising to most. |
