| It's kinda sad if you invested in the SP 500 in Europe, you would have lost all your gains for this reason. |

Well....Dubya himself said:
1. The U.S. economy is strong
2. We support a strong dollar
Are you saying you don't believe statement 1, 2...or both?
BTW, according to recent statistics at the polls here in the U.S.....it appears the majority of Americans don't believe either statement. |

A "weak" dollar doesn't necessarily mean the U.S. economy is weak, nor does a "strong" dollar imply healthy growth. What kind of currency environment is desirable is dependent on your position in the economy. The Chicago Federal Reserve has a nice overview on the implications of currency strength. The entire article is fairly lengthy but spending 5 minutes reading the first few paragraphs and the bullet point list might be a good investment of your time.

Yeah...send em all to Disneyworld so DIS can keep da fantasy goin. First they raise admission to theme parks, then they raise the dividend....all in an attempt to hoodwink investors into thinking their stock is werth $33. The good news is that I heard they lowered the price of a freakin hot dog down from $7.50 to $6.75. |
