Template
Very Nice, Neat and Clear. The colours match perfectly. 10/10.
Navigation
I think you should start with capital letters e.g. "Most Graded" instead of "most graded". Other than that, its very nice. 9/10
Speed
Very Fast, cant say no more. 9/10
Overall
I like the logo and how you've set out of where things go, i have to admit this is seriously a simple site but very professional. Keep up the good work! Overall Rating 9/10. |

The following comments are more like observations than a review, so that them for what they're worth.
On your "Sign up" page it's spelled "Sign Upr", see /register/register_form.php for what I mean.
The site map is useless, in my opinion, for a human. It might be great for spiders, but it doesn't help me at all.
I think the home page should tell me more about what the site does. When I got there, I didn't know what to do, or what would likely be the most interesting.
I agree with the prior comment in that the site seems well laid out, in my opinion simple = better, and I like the use of space to set off the different areas of the page.
I clicked on the "blog" link, and it went to an external site. Have you considered integrating the blog right on your site? There are several free blog packages that you can install and skin so that they match your site. I use Wordpress (www.wordpress.org). In my opinion, if you are trying to make a professional site you should host your own blog rather than using a blogger account.
Some of the screens might need some help text... I tried 3 different ways to search for users before I found what worked. Then I tried to search by "favorite exchange" and entered NASDAQ and got "invalid exchange" as an error message. If you have a limited number of values, it's best to provide the user (the clueless user, in my case ) with a set of options.
Frustration is a big turn-off. If a user can't figure out what the site is about in a few minutes, at best, they're moving on. |

It's true that it's not totally obvious what the site does upon your intial visit. (We may suffer from this too)
You have a good number of users so far, perhaps integrate a forum as well?
I really like the idea though. If you know what public opinion is on a stock you may be a step ahead and it may be an important piece of info to consider before purchasing a stock. |

It's nice to be on the other end of that observation for once. Usually I'm the one with the crazy typo's in my code.
Good luck with the site. |

Sorry I missed this the first time around, but here's my two cents.
The interface is very nice and simple, but it works well. A couple of things that might need changing are the "research" links - have them open in another window so you dont have people taken away from your site! Also, the upgrade/downgrade number could be changed... it was displaying alright in search lists, but once I opened the actual page all it would give me was a "0" in the box... maybe split it into "ups" and "downs" for easiness. The info section could also have a longer perspective for grades and posts than just today... maybe do it by week?
Hope this helps, good luck! |

3000 e$ has been dispatched.
Im Not Warren Buffett, Great suggestions. I have implemented all of them except for the one splitting the upgrades and downgrades, although I do think it's a good idea. I just don't know how to lay it out so it will be streamlined with the rest of the site.

Heh heh. I don't know where these weird spelling mistakes come from. Late night coding = crazy typing... ? |

Nice site, simple. Where do you get the ratings for the stocks? Also how did you pick them?
I might join if it had a sim. |

The domain name and site is very nice and simple, but it works well together. I really like the nagivation, the look and the domain is pretty cool too I think! Though some thoughts. I have been to your site a few times, and I guess just after searching and playing around. I really don't fully understand the actual concept, what I am to do, and how to get things to work for my benefit. I would maybe suggest, another page discussing the concept, the idea, why everything...why the name, why or the point of grading or down grading. And this page might already be there, but I have not seen this or I have missed this.
Also, I would highly suggest either a forum or a blog as well to go along. And even possibly both. I would suggest maybe in the blog or forum or in both the top grading stocks of the week or month, or ect.
My last two cents worth of suggestion. I think you should put some PR out about your site...maybe try PRweb.com Just write up a little article about your new launched site or your next promote or make it back to school promo, contest, or something be creative! And, also, link exchanges, link exchanges, links exchanges!
I hope this helps! Keep up the good work! |
