If any of you own or operate a small business, where do you get your wholesale products from? Or do you dropship? Im having a real hard time finding good wholesalers at good prices. Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Searching the web for wholesalers and dropshippers is a nightmare! There are so many turn-key sites, scams and who knows what out there...next thing you know your on the SMC site with Bosley staring you in the face and you give up. Evil or Very Mad

Anyone know any place reputable I'd be interested too!

Exactly... Ive been searching for such a long time but cant seem to find anyone reasonable. And then I get the occasional dropshipper who is offering something like ipod minis for 269$ when you can buy them off the apple website for 249$.... great deal.

authorsweb please could you pm me a copy of your list.

I deal sometimes in computer parts and genrally use local wholesalers you get to know who can provide you them that little bit cheaper.

The only other way i find is to look for websites which give discount for bulk buying so instead of buying 1 or 2 of something buy 100 or so.

This can get the cost down and make your return higher.

I tried to start an importing but gave up cause of lack of good suppliers. Try alibaba.com for wholesalers, that is the biggest website.

I wouldn't mind seeing that list.

I actually have no experience with online wholesalers, but I imagine it's a mess out there.

Depending on the product I find the prices at places like Costco can be quite reasonable. Though there has got to be a better source. Some of their prices are comparable to your local grocery store.

I do some business on ebay. I would like to grow the business. I have found no reputable drop shiopers or good priced wholesalers yet. However, there's always estate sales, liquidations etc. and I do quite well on those.
