I have started seeing a tremendous amount of commericals for Ameritrade. Has anyone had experience with their online trading. Is it expensive? Complicated?

I use Ameritrade and its great. A little expensive for a small time investor a.k.a. 2 stocks a year. But if you are active on the stock market I would say Ameritrade.

I agree w/ Mayur i also use ameritrade and they have let me down a couple of times but they have well made it up. Sometimes during heavy trading voulume ameritrad is a little slows executing orders but if you call them they will give you some free shares or lower your commision on future trades. Over all i am very happy w/ ameritrade. Except that if you borrow on margin they sell your stock right away if you have a matinence call.
