Avanex Corp. Monday reported a fiscal third-quarter loss of $10.2 million, or 6 cents per share, compared with $18.9 million, or 13 cents per share, for the year-earlier period -- a 42 percent improvement.
For the fiscal third quarter ended March 31, the Fremont company reported net revenue of $40.1 million compared with $40.3 million for the year-earlier period.
