I think it might be good to add a Small Business forum. Small Business owners make up a lot of America, so maybe it would be good to add a forum to discuss money issues, investing, employees, etc. I don't know if there is a huge interest or not, but I think it would make some interesting discussions.

I agree with tom. A small business section would add alot more to the site.

any chance of moving the GURU FORUM from the beginners section to a more appropriate location.

i'm hoping tp begin posting quite a number of articles there from various GURUs in hopes other board members will begin to do so as well.

along with some discussion of some of these as well.

How about Business and Stock news for the GURU discussion?

I've moved it here:
http://www.einvesting.com/viewforum.php?f=24

Let me know if this is ok or If you think it would fit better elsewhere.

I think sectors is a good idea, but posts might be a bit sparse. Try creating a Sectors post in Discuss Stocks and if it gets enough attention I'll create it's own section. Wink

i envision the bulk of the sectors posts to be about stocks within the sectors currently working.

e.g.

oil = sector

oil services = subsector

specific stocks within subsector

(BHI)
(NOI)
(NOBLE
(GSF)
(HAL)

or

retailing = sector

retailing clothing upscale = subsector

specific stocks within subsector

(URBN)
nordstroms etc.

i may give it a try.

Woof... this may seem a bit silly, but what about a thread for each user in the active rankings list. For instance right now I would like to talk to Tekbubble (in public) on his thread, so he can let me know what hes trading, and when he expects his run to finish. However, I would feel a bit rude starting a thread to ask him. A thread for each user, within a particular forum would solve this. If each user could only start 1 thread within this dedicated forum it would be easy to manage, and easy to talk to particular users.... Does this sound like a silly idea? I would find it handy right now
