| I'm looking for a good exit point for my shares. I think that the easy times for WMT are done, and it's only going to get harder from here on out to maintain the type of performance that shareholders have come to expect. |

Anytime you want, you can always transfer your shares to a trading account and sell them and get something more exciting........ |

You know what, I bet it will and you have a safe bet here. I started thinking about this thread last night and then about what has happened in my town. First we had only a WalMart on the northside, then a SuperCenter on the southside. Over the next few years the Supercenter was so damn crowded it was a pain to shop there. Then across the street from the supercenter this year they built a Sam's and relieved some pressure off of the Supercenter and now on the northside they are replacing the the disount center with a new larger supercenter. So, I'd bet in the long run you'll still see gains, better than CD's. |

I think walmart is a cost averaging stock. Buy some on a regular basis and accumilate. Hold for the long term. Like em or not they are "The" idol of all other businesses as far as how to run a profitable company. They still have China and india to move into and they are trying to mimic Target for a upscale feel. IMHO |

The question might be, do they pay their workers in China enough to let them buy the products they're making?
One year chart from Yahoo!
So far, when I have used this technique to link to a chart from Yahoo, those charts have been live, so if you are viewing this post at some point in the future then it should reflect the one-year range as of when you view the chart. |
