Does anyone here take the time to listen to these? And if so, how worthwhile are they to hear? What info can you get out of them?

Conference calls are a great way to hear first-hand what is happening within a company from a top executive. Normally I can find a link to the conferences on Yahoo Finance... but I can't find the specific way I do it right now. Usually its just part of the headlines listed below the data on any stock.

As for the time involved... I don't think its necessary unless you are putting real money into the stock, because its just not worth spending the time if you are playing with e$.

I agree. And yes, if you catch them at the right time you can listen in on them with your media player.

I have done a few, but don't make it a regular practice. I listened to an ORCL call once because Larry Ellison is an interesting speaker. He had very little to do with the conf call, mostly it was other executives.

If you dont want to listen to the calls, or if you miss them, there is a site where you can find many conference call transcrips to read at your convenience.
