I was just thinking...
Would it be possible for there to be hidden country-specific boards?
This would function similar to a user group's private board but would be for users interested in a place to discuss some more nation specific content.
Perhaps this could be worked into the registration where users select which country they are posting from. If there are enough active users from a specific country, a private board is opened for them.
Thoughts? |

I like this idea...Actually if you want to get a Canadian team going and get some users I'll make you moderator of the Canadian board. |

| Just curious, do they have to be private boards? |

Well I just didn't want to clutter the forum with a wide variety of new board sections. I know looking at our growing list of topics can be daunting for a new user and I didn't want to add to that. |

It's true is is getting rather large. About 4 months ago I cut it down quite a bit.
Maybe I need to look at consolidating some more.
Investing Technology, Aggressive & Passive Investing, Real Estate Investing and Investing Online aren't as busy and maybe can be worked on. |

maybe you could combine "investing technology" with "investing online" and just call it "online investing and technology" or something like that.

I like the idea of having a Canadian forum. I am just wondering how active it truly would be.
On another note, so I don't start another topic is... When you are looking at a topic and want to get back to the forum index.. you have to scroll to the bottom of the page which is a little inconvenient. I guess I'm just used to having it on the top of the page.
Example:
> www.eInvesting.com Forum Index » Check Here for Announcements! » topic name. |

It does appear at the top...like in this thread:
www.eInvesting.com Forum Index » eInvesting Feedback
Do you mean it should be at the bottom so when your done reading you can go back easily? |

Ben, just wondering.. For the team thing that is starting up, can we have a private forum for the team? I can throw one of my own up in a jiffy if you don't care one way or another. |

That is my concern as well, but I thought I would get the ball rolling to gauge the interest. If it doesn't work out, I have a more ambitious plan I am considering looking into. |
