Conference calls are a great way to hear first-hand what is happening within a company from a top executive. Normally I can find a link to the conferences on Yahoo Finance... but I can't find the specific way I do it right now. Usually its just part of the headlines listed below the data on any stock.
As for the time involved... I don't think its necessary unless you are putting real money into the stock, because its just not worth spending the time if you are playing with e$. |

| I agree. And yes, if you catch them at the right time you can listen in on them with your media player. |

| I have done a few, but don't make it a regular practice. I listened to an ORCL call once because Larry Ellison is an interesting speaker. He had very little to do with the conf call, mostly it was other executives. |

If you dont want to listen to the calls, or if you miss them, there is a site where you can find many conference call transcrips to read at your convenience.

If you are going to invest in or have already invested in a company you need to know whats going on. This is one of the best ways to get information a the inner happenings. Thanks for the great link nelania  |
