Well, they have -161.88% profit margin. They show negative on everything (that they do show) except net tangible assets. Even if I supported and loved the technology I would wait until the price came under $4 and bottomed.

I'd put it on the watch list. Cool

Well, I don't know about that, it may be worth holding for the long haul I'd expect a drop to 5.75 or so before it climbs past 7.25 or more. And the reason it is on a tear may be because of proven technology it owns.

"Ballard Power Systems Secures $8.3 Million Contract for Fuel Cell Bus Field Service
March 02, 2006
Ballard Power Systems announced that it has secured an $8.3 million contract to service 27 Ballard powered Mercedes-Benz Citaro fuel cell buses that will run on European roads this year as a one-year extension to the CUTE (Clean Urban Transport for Europe) / ECTOS (Ecological City Transport System) Project, the two-year fuel cell bus demonstration that began in late 2003."

So that may explain some gains, it has been proving it's technology for the last 2-3 years and evidently it works well or they wouldn't extend their contracts.

Interesting technology.... "the business of design, development, manufacture and commercialization of power products based on proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology for a variety of applications"....

They are one of those companies that has been around awhile, had it all and lost it, they seem to be near an all time low from all time high yr 2000 at $130 and now at $5 or $6, so you are probably right to get out noone that invested in them will probably be back after that management catastrophe.

So, it's coin toss if you made money after all those poor folks lost their @ss, take it to the bank and count your blessings or $$$'s.

JD, BLDP almost hit $7.25 as you said earlier it's now at $6.77. I sold half of my holdings at $6.50 and will let the rest ride.
