| How come this CMHC insurance needs to be paid every time you refinance or renew your mortgage. I thought this was a one time thing. |

| What is CHMC Insurance? I remember having to purchase PMI insurance, but am unfamilir with CHMC. |

| Sorry...CMHC is probably the Canadian version of what you are talking about. When you purchase a house with less than 25 per cent down you are charged CMHC insurance- (it's tacked onto your mortgage). |
