Not sure what you mean. If you are talking about a real estate person their rates fluctuate you definitely have room to play with. Keep bartering until you feel comfortable with what they are offering you.

In the UK a solicitor is a lawyer? who does not deal in criminal cases ( we call those barristers). Most people use a solicitor to oversee a house sale. They can be very expensive.
