im not talking about the amount showing under my avatar in my posts, im talking about the page that comes up after you submit a post where it tells you to "click here to view your post..." It usually tells you the amount you are getting for the post (210 e$ for example) but for me it shows up blank.

dunno it shows up sometimes, and dosen't... Confused

Yes. Same thing happens here.

Some times it shows your message entered but not show how much amount you earned for that post.

It happens rare. Lets say 1 in every 30-35 post. Wink

If you're over 40 in 24 hours then you don't get any e$ for that post. Ask me how I know. Very Happy But in that case you should get an appropriate message as to what is going on.

I've never noticed that before, but I usually don't look to see how much I've made for a post unless its really long, in which case I'll check just to see how much I actually typed.

I've never seen it happen... let's see if I can jinx it by saying that and get it to happen for this post. Shocked

[Edit] Nope, it worked just fine.

I wonder if there is a log somewhere for this. I understand there is a cash transaction log for when users donate money to another user, and stuff like that, but I would be surprised if there were a log of cash earned for each post...

I've seen it too, it comes and goes. Seems like for some reason at times it's not getting a response from the e$ table in the database so it just shows a blank.

I had that happen to me. I have also had what Dave mentioned with the 40 posts in a 24 hour period.

You can keep posting after 40, you just don't earn anything for it. I believe that the limit was put into place to keep people from simply coming to the board and spamming hundreds of posts just to run up their e$. There are some "fun" topics here (the T/F, the "thinking of" and stuff like that) and those are great for getting to know each other.

But the intent of the board is to post about finance and investing. Smile
